Collection: 1:22 Diecast

1:22 sits between the two sizes most people already own. It is noticeably bigger in the hand than a 1:24 — around 21 to 22 cm against 19 — without taking the shelf space, or the price, of a 1:18.

Everything here is built the way the 1:24 cars are: a zinc alloy body with ABS detail parts and rubber tyres, doors and bonnet that open, working headlights with an engine note, and a pull-back motor. The extra size mostly shows in the interior, where the seats, dashboard and engine bay are moulded in more detail than a smaller scale allows.

Is 1:22 the right size for you?

  • Already collecting 1:24? A 1:22 will stand slightly taller on the same shelf. Most collectors mix them without it looking odd.
  • Buying a gift? This is the size that feels substantial when it comes out of the box — heavier than it looks, which is usually the first thing anyone notices.
  • Short on space? Stay with 1:24. A 1:18 needs a proper shelf; 1:22 is closer to 1:24 but still takes a little more room.

We are adding to this scale as stock comes in. If you are after a particular model, tell us — we can often get it.
