The DBS Superleggera is the big grand tourer in the Aston Martin range, and the shape survives the shrink well — that enormous grille, the vents cut into the bonnet and front wings, and the long fastback roofline dropping into the tail. Every colour comes with a black roof and black alloys.

What it does

Doors open — onto a moulded cabin with the dashboard and seats in place.
Lights — press down and the headlights come on.
Pull back and go — a friction motor drives it across the floor.

Looking after it

The paint on these is a deep metallic and shows fingerprints more than most — a dry microfibre cloth brings it back. Work the doors gently and take the cells out if it is going on a shelf for months.

This is a display model rather than a floor toy. On carpet the low front splitter catches.
