Godzilla in race trim — the R35 GT-R with a bonnet vent, a tall fixed rear wing, a number 4 on each door and RESCUE lettering along the sills. NISSAN runs across the windscreen banner and the GT-R badge sits on the nose, same as the car it is copied from.

What it does

  • Doors open — onto a moulded racing cabin.
  • Lights — press down and the headlights come on.
  • Pull back and go — a friction motor drives it across the floor.

Looking after it

The rear wing stands well clear of the body and is the first thing to catch — lift it by the roof or the sills. The livery is printed rather than stickered, so it will not peel, but it scuffs on grit. Take the cells out if it is going on a shelf for months.
