The NSX that made the supercar world take Japan seriously — low, wide and flat-roofed, with the cabin pushed right to the front. This one wears the track treatment: a black vented bonnet, a raised rear wing, black alloys and a red interior you can see straight through the glass.

What it does

  • Doors open — onto the red bucket seats and a moulded dashboard.
  • Lights — press down and the headlights come on.
  • Pull back and go — a friction motor drives it across the floor.

Looking after it

The rear wing is the part that catches — lift it by the roof or the sills, not the wing. Wipe it with a dry cloth and take the cells out if it is going on a shelf for months.
